Background Information:

In accordance with the Tennessee Internal School Uniform Accounting Policy Manual, “the local board must approve accounts payable that will not be liquidated during the current fiscal year.”

Obion County Central High School, Lake Road Elementary School, and South Fulton Middle/High School have submitted a listing of outstanding purchase orders that will most likely not be liquidated prior to June 30, 2018, and requests Board approval for these outstanding encumbrances. The goods and services were encumbered during the 2017 – 2018 school year.

Staff Recommendation:

We recommend approval of the above-noted request submitted by the respective individual schools.
